Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder contains Benzocaine, a topical pain reliever, to alleviate minor injuries. This styptic powder controls bleeding effectively and quickly for many small domestic animals, including dogs and cats. Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder is most commonly used for minor bleeding such as injury caused from mishap during nail trimming. Also, this product can be used for docking tails, trimming beaks and minor cuts.
Apply with moistened cotton tipped applicator to the cut nail or other superficial bleeding area using moderate constant pressure for five to ten seconds. Do not use in deep wounds or body cavities or on burns.
Ingredients: Ferric Subsulfate, Aluminum Chloride, Diatomite, Bentonite, Copper Sulfate, Ammonium Chloride, Benzocaine.
Keep out of reach of children.
