Wash reusable pad before first use for best fit and absorbency. Some shrinkage of the pad will occur after washing and drying. Pads can be peed on multiple times before washing, depending on personal preference. Dispose of solid waste prior to washing. Unsnap pads before washing. Wash on regular cycle with detergent in warm to hot water. Excessive use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners can cause the reduction of absorbency in the pads. To dry the pads, use a permanent press medium heat dryer setting or hand to dry.
