Mixing Instructions: Gently shake or stir one part powder into two parts warm water. Do not use a blender. Do not mix more Esbilac than can be consumed in 24 hours. Reconstituted Esbilac should be refrigerated. Feeding Instructions: Warm reconstituted Esbilac to room or body temperature before serving. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons of liquid (30 mL) per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies’ needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Young and/or weak puppies may need to be fed reconstituted Esbilac every 3 - 4 hours. Older puppies do well when fed reconstituted Esbilac every 8 hours. Weigh the puppy daily to assure adequate feeding. Storage: Unopened powder should be stored in a cool, dry place. Opened powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 months or can be frozen for up to 6 months. Reconstituted liquid must be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
