Difixn is a treatment that works fast to relieve dogs of diarrhea symptoms. Causes of diarrhea include scavenging behavior/garbage gut, Stress/emotional upset, sudden diet change, overeating, and food intolerance.
Give 1 dose every 8 hours as needed, not to exceed 3 doses in 24 hours. Puppies and small dogs 10-25 lbs take 1/2 caplet, dogs 26-40 lbs take 1 caplet, dogs 41-60 lbs take 2 caplets. Dogs 61-80 lbs take 3 caplets, dogs 81lbs and over take 4 caplets. If diarrhea persists for more than 48 hours contact your veterinarian. Loperamide
Not for use in the following breeds: Collie, Shelty, Australian shepherd, German shepherd, Old english sheep dog, Long haired whippets. Do not use with any other product containing Loperamide HCL. Ask a veterinarian before use if your dog has any chronic illnesses. Stop use and contact veterinarian if symptoms get worse or do not improve within 48 hours. Ask a veterinarian or pharmacist if your dog is on any other medication before use. Keep out of reach of children in case of overdose contact poison control immediately. Not for human use.
